# Give each person and their agent the right access

Decide which areas a person should use, and give access only for the work they need to do. Their connected agent works within that access.

### Decide who can do what

These are separate permissions. Being able to read a record doesn't let someone change or approve it.

1. See the information. Who needs these records for their work?
2. Suggest a correction. Who should be allowed to suggest changes?
3. Approve a change. Who has authority to approve the suggestion?

## A simple case

Mensara checks each request against the access of the person the agent works for. An agent helping with client meetings can be allowed to read account records without getting payroll, the right to suggest or approve changes, or the owner's authority.

If your agent is refused, ask the owner to review the access the job needs.
