Start with a question you can check

Choose one small question that should have an answer in the notes you are allowed to use. A good first job gives you a clear result and a source you can inspect.

You might ask: “What decisions and open questions should I know before this client meeting?” Or ask why a decision changed, or what a new assistant needs before it begins work. These are illustrative prompts, not prebuilt workflows.

Ask the connected assistant to find the relevant sources and explain what it used. For a question about today's guidance, use current information. For a question about how or why something changed, ask for the supporting history.

Open the cited notes before relying on an important answer. A current or approved label records a status; it does not make every statement true.

If the sources do not answer the question, say what is missing. Do not fill the gap with a guess. Once you have one useful, checkable answer, you have a sensible starting point for broader work.

# Choose one useful first job

## Purpose

Help a person select one bounded question that can be answered from notes they may access, identify expected sources, and check the resulting answer. Illustrative jobs include preparing for a client conversation, understanding a decision, or briefing a new assistant. They are choices for evaluation, not installed workflows or evidence of customer outcomes.

## Contract

Accept one question, its intended use, and the expected notes or map areas. Keep the question narrow enough to assess against accessible sources. Use the existing authorized retrieval context only: follow returned maps and linked files before fallback search. Treat current memory as the normal view; use evidence only when history, provenance, or review is required. Authorization remains in force for both views.

Return the answer with the sources consulted, any uncertainty, and missing or conflicting evidence. Ask the reader to compare cited notes with the question. An approval label signals recorded eligibility, and a read receipt records an operation; neither establishes factual truth. Do not propose changes, broaden access, or infer missing facts.

## Completion and limit

The task is complete when one answerable question, its expected sources, and a source-check result are visible to the reader. If supporting evidence is unavailable, state the gap. This contract uses the supplied source context; confirm supported client setup and live behavior for the particular Mind.
