Once everything lives in Mensara, are we stuck with you?
No. Your Mind is plain Markdown files with their published history in a Git repository. Copy the repository and you keep the files and their history, readable without Mensara. With a Git backup and the separate Recovery Kit, the Mind can be rebuilt on a replacement server. See Backup, restore and ownership.
I don't want our playbook on someone else's servers.
Your Mind's content lives on its own server, not in Mensara's account system. Who operates that server depends on the hosting arrangement you choose, so ask about it during setup. See Decide where your information may go.
How do I know what the agent actually looked at?
Access is checked by software before any model sees a file. Each read, refusal and change leaves a signed activity record of who asked, what kind of action it was and the outcome. You can also ask your agent to name the files it used, then open them. See Changes and approvals.
We re-explain our context to every AI tool. Does this fix that?
That's the point of writing it down once. Each person's agent reads the same Mind, within that person's access, so the context doesn't reset between conversations or tools. Keeping it accurate is still your team's work, and review makes that work visible.
Why not use the AI features already built into our tools?
A Mind is your own set of files, used by the agents your team already has: Claude, Codex, Cursor or ChatGPT on the web. Other compatible tools may connect too.
Couldn't we build this ourselves?
Keeping company knowledge in a repository you control isn't a new idea, and we won't pretend it is. The hard part comes after day one: access for each person and agent, review of changes, activity records, backups and keeping the information current. That work doesn't stop after setup.
What will it cost?
Mensara is setting up a founding group by hand, so there is no public price list yet. Your AI tools are paid for separately, through your own AI subscriptions or API keys. Join the waitlist and we'll talk through the shape of your Mind.
What happens when an answer is wrong?
Answers can be wrong. That's why answers point back to the files they used and why changes can wait for review. A wrong answer is easier to trace and correct when you can see the source and the history behind it.
Can I sign up today?
Not yet. Public signup is closed while we set up the founding group personally. Join the waitlist and we'll be in touch about setup.
