Views are available on Minds with the released View feature. This page explains using a published View. Build and publish a team View explains creating one and having another authorised person review it.
Find the published View
Open Views in your Mind's Portal, its web interface, or follow the View's known address on that Mind. Sign in with your own account. Check the page's name and author to confirm that you opened the intended View. Read any freshness information it provides before relying on its totals.
A View can have a short address such as /pipeline; that is an illustration, not a page every Mind provides. A draft bundle or an approved proposal is not proof that the View has been published at its address.
Understand what the rows represent
A View reads declared sets of Mind records. It can display fields stored with those records and their text. It cannot invent a missing customer, fee or next step, and it cannot obtain live data from an outside service by itself.
Check any freshness or partial-result message before using a total. Open the supporting record where the View provides that route, or ask your connected agent to inspect the authorised source. An empty set may mean there are no matching records you can see; it does not establish that nobody else has records in that area.
Keep private information in the right area
Access follows the underlying records. A hidden column is not an access control. If some people must not see a field, keep that information in records within an appropriately restricted area and have the View author declare only the intended sources.
The Mind checks the viewer and every author of the installed View version. If an author loses access to a source, other viewers do not acquire that source through the View. Zones and permissions and effective access explain the rules behind this behaviour.
A View checks the records for each person
All the relevant boundaries must allow the row.
A record must be within the View’s declared sources. The current viewer and every author of the installed View version must also be able to read it. Only records satisfying all those boundaries can be returned. Keeping a column out of sight does not change the underlying access rules. An omitted row can make the result partial.
When a View will not open
Check the intended Mind, account and exact address. A suspended or removed View may no longer be available. If the page opens but its data read is refused or incomplete, report that state and the intended source to the owner or authorised builder. Do not treat sample rows as a substitute for a failed live read.
A View is read-only: it does not write records, run scheduled work or connect to the internet. Ask for a normal governed correction when its underlying information is wrong. Correct saved information explains that route.
